The sleeper awakes!
I’ve told some that I would continue blogging with my own domain name. No surprise. The surprise is, I paid for this about a month ago, and did nothing with it! Less than RM10 wasted so far just for boosting my ego of owning an empty space on the net. No thanks to my multiple hobbies (potato planting and mosquito gazing, to mention a few) that have been occupying my time.
Tonight, I decide, enough is enough!!!!!!
...I present to you, my humble blog with absolutely no customizations to speak of…
If I do not take the red pill(red pill? blue pill? I’m confused) tonight, I figure I might never. As for the customizations, they will come. Not a bad thing for readers to “grow” together with your site too, eh?
Q: It’s no longer called “killarkai’s GameWorld”, why?
A: Video games has always been my passion, but now that I’m in Shanghai, I would like to blog about my experiences here too. Building bridges, they say. (Shhhh… Selling out, they say too.)
Q: Why the name “the Hermit Craps”?
A: Hermits are great. They don’t give a shit about dollars, pretty cars and hot women. The lure of sitcoms and pop music? Bah! With a daily routine of drinking dew, digging earth for fun, playing with water, communicating with the Big Guy, practicing Kung-Fu, listening to jazz, appreciating video games, whats not great about them?
Q: What’s the philosophy of hermits?
A: Let go, do not be tied to things of this world.
Q: No hermits ever impress me.
A: Here’s a few that could make you call them daddy anytime.
Q: Your site name is obviously a Rip off of Hermit Crabs!!
A: OK, I admit it. Just like what the bats did to batman, and cats to catwoman, hermit crabs did it to me!(did what?) One day at Redang Island, I threw a piece of sausage to the floor, about five hermit crabs finished it up in the matter of minutes. Pretty neat I thought. The same night, we threw a basket full of biodegradable waste to a junk hole, thousands of hermit crabs came out in the middle of the night to wipe ‘em ALL out, nothing left behind the next morning. My jaw dropped. Yes, thats the sole reason behind my blog’s name.
